Road Show Demo
The Road Show Demo is a demonstration of how the Machine Automation Controller (MAC) can be used in a larger scale. By utilizing the ability to use distributed remote I/O via EtherCAT can monitor safety and discrete I/O at various stations throughout the line. We are showing the flexibility of using multiple networks on the system as well as the use of robot control from the NJ CPU. Instead of employing a programmer dedicated to robot programming, a typical PLC programmer can modify robotic work cell logic with the assistance of the Omron function blocks used to control the scara robot.

The IIOT Demo is a small-scale Industrial Internet Of Things demonstration to assist sales-engineers and customer sparking conversation on how IIOT might apply to their Facility.
Thanks to the database connectivity of the NX102, we can store a plethora of data points that can provide insight into machine productivity, health, and performance over time. Examples of said information could include IO-Link Sensor data, 1S Servo Performance stats, Solenoid Valve Actuations, and Safety Device Information.
This System also exhibits Safety Over Ethercat by using safety IO on the remote panel over Ethercat along with the built in Fail-Safe-Over-Ethercat (FSOE) capabilities of the 1S Servo.
